Updates and random thoughts

Wow, it has been a long time since I have really written anything. Needless to say it was much easier to keep up with my blog while working nightwatch and having an abundance of time to fill. I wish I had that job now that I am taking 16 hours of sciences and only have about 6 hours a week to get my homework/studying/test taking in. As well as working full time. It is Crazy! I was so sad on Saturday because I missed Connor's first Soccer game. Although from the report from Anna, I didn't miss anything, he only played about 2 minutes. Wow! 3 year old soccer, and he gets benched! I guess he takes after me! I hope he can get some attention in practice and playing time in the games or else he will lose interest in soccer real fast. Not that I care if he wants to play soccer or anything else I just want him to have good experiences and have fun. This spring I will still have a crazy schedule but come summer or next fall I will probably volunteer to coach since my schedule will really be relaxed and I will love to spend that time with C.

D.O. vs. P.A. Update

So after some time of thinking about PA school vs. DO school, I feel I really want to go on to DO school. The sacrifice is greater, but ultimately it is what I want to be.
I just found one of my good friends who I searved a mission with in Argentina on Facebook the other day and found out that he just finished DO school, so here is a shout out to you Travis, Congratulations, I envy you right now.
I am excited because it wont be long until August, and then I can get back into school working towards a second bachelors in Biology and then come spring I can start working on my applications for Med School, SWEET!

Doctor vs. Physicians Assistant

Today I met with a Dr. that I esteem very highly (in fact he was my physician growing up). I wanted to talk to him about my desire to get into med school and become a doctor. He mentioned to me that I should look at what exactly my reasons for wanting to become a doctor and maybe it might make more sense to become a PA instead. So now I am going to look into just what the difference is between the two. I have got alot to learn, but I feel I will be able to make a more educated decision as to what is best for me and my family.
